Taking a class on shamanism is one thing. Apprenticing to a working shaman is quite another. It requires a deep mutual commitment and is never undertaken lightly. This apprenticeship will be online in a group format as well as offer one-on-one instruction and run From September 2012 to June, 2013. You will receive weekly lessons in video, audio and written format, a private facebook discussion group for your dedicated new tribe, nine private healing journey/mentoring sessions with Robin (1.5-2 hours each), live group chats, and a copy of each of Robin's shamanic fiction titles. The current monthly rate is $300 and requires a commitment to the full nine-month program. A private conversation and a mutual "dreaming in" is both offered and required prior to being accepted in this program. As the contemporary world plunges into more and more uncertainty, help and healing from the "worlds-beyond-worlds" becomes more and more important. The contemporary shaman is rising up to meet this need, yet clear training in this age-old tradition is difficult to find. Robin Rice, author and contemporary shamanic teacher, offers her expertise in this teaching/healing workshop. Robin was spirit taught in her dreams, yet she found watching other shamans work to be critical to fine tuning her gifts. As such, she offers her students direct experience and "transmission" so that they may further develop their own potential.
As the poet Rumi wrote: "Out beyond all ideas of right doing and wrong doing there is a field: I'll meet you there." In this workshop, students will gather on Saturday to learn to more profoundly connect to the field known in shamanism as the "Upper Worlds" where angels, mythological creatures, ascended masters, deities, and other guides are encountered. In addition to deeper shamanic learning, personal insights and healing can be accessed. In addition, we will move beyond the fields of duality of right/wrong, he/she, me/them and into a unified field where true transformation can occur. Our intention is to find levels of consistent understanding, guidance and peace for the journey of life as it plays out in tumultuous times.
Sunday we will offer an open clinic to members of the community to come for shamanic healing from Robin with students as witness. This is offered to those in need free of charge, and students may also be considered for a healing. Robin will demonstrate the use of shamanic tools, "conscious journeying" (Robin will be in an altered state, but discuss what she is doing as she works), and an example of direct transmission of her soul-based healing gifts. "Students" includes anyone with genuine interest in practicing shamanism, and includes shamanic practitioners who wish to continue learning in diverse methodologies. We especially welcome those who have experienced life as "outsiders" to consensus reality and standard society who seek healing through encountering the soul-behind-the-self.

Cost: A sliding scale from $10 to $295 is offered to make sure that all with genuine interest and serious intent can attend. Please be generous while allowing for your financial circumstances. There is no charge to those seeking healing on Sunday--your contribution is your open willingness to share the experience so that contemporary shamanic students and practitioners can witness and thus refine their skills. The fees are for the workshop only. Hotel and meals are not included.
